Radio Controlled Ships / Boats / Yachts and more...

THE CSMEE BOATING SECTION

The building and sailing of model boats is also very popular in the club. Full facilities are available for re-charging batteries in electric powered boats and the pond is ideal for scale type boats - electric, steam and sail. Only one competition is held during the year - the Mini America’s Cup - raced for by ‘Image’ class yachts.

The following radio frequencies are NOT permitted due to the close proximity of two model aircraft clubs.

35.010 to 35.090 inclusive
40.510 to 40.770 inclusive
72.110 to 72.250 inclusive
